We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Advisor to provide an effective and efficient internal digital marketing service across the company.

This will involve professionally managing the development of a company-wide multi-channel digital marketing communications strategy to agreed standards and budget.

Responsibilities will include:

• Creating and uploading copy and images for the company’s website
• Writing and dispatching email marketing campaigns
• Providing accurate reports and analysis to internal clients and company management to demonstrate effective return on investment
• Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the company including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
• Designing website banners and assisting with web visuals
• Communicating with internal clients, affiliated networks and partners as required
• Conducting keyword research and web statistics reporting
• Contributing to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
• Using web analytics software to monitor the performance of internal websites and/or advertisements and make recommendations for improvement
• Contributing to company and industry blogs and managing e-communications
• Assisting with paid media - including liaising with digital advertising agencies
• Developing and integrating content marketing strategies in line with the Head of Marketing and Communications and team • Keeping up to date with current digital trends
• Negotiating with media suppliers to achieve the best price for the company
• Building and maintaining the public image of the company
• Working with colleagues to build and deliver a digital marketing plan that leverages the brand and reputation of the company
• Supporting the development of our brand strategy and website to strengthen our employer brand and leave a positive impression
• Coaching colleagues on best practice for digital marketing approach and methods

Applicants will ideally have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience of digital marketing such as: social media marketing, search engine optimisation, pay per click and mobile marketing, preferably with a construction sector background
• Excellent IT skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
• Capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
• Capability to network with analytical skills
• Understanding of all relevant compliance requirements/issues e.g. copyright legislation

The ideal candidate will have a post-graduate qualification in digital marketing and hold a relevant digital marketing accreditation e.g. IDM / CIM.
