The centrepiece of the development is a competition standard eight lane 25m swimming pool. Facilities also include a learner pool, a 120-station computerised fitness suite, three studios for exercise classes, a 3G astroturf pitch, three five-a-side pitches, specialist treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms and a cafeteria.

When ground nesting Sand Martins were found on part of the site, the area was barriered off and protected until the young birds had fledged. Weekly inspections were undertaken by a qualified ornithologist to ensure nesting birds were not disturbed by the construction activity.
