With a live railway tunnel running under West Regent Street, we liaised closely with Network Rail to ensure our works did not impact on the structure below, our Design Group’s Temporary Works team helping manage the risk involved in working on or near the tunnel.
With the existing basement walls needing to remain in place, our site team, Temporary Works Department, the design team and Network Rail worked together to incorporate them into the permanent works, developing a compliant design that was buildable within programme and budget.
