General Information

We have provided two new bulk grain storage facilities at Bristol Port, one of the most modern and fastest growing docks in the UK.

Work involved extensive reinforcement to the quayside, providing strengthened loading areas with crane facilities.

As part of the project we also constructed offices for Bristol Port Company’s operation facilities. Previous contracts include construction of the port’s chilled Fresh Produce Terminal.

As part of the quay strengthening operation we designed a scaffold solution that allows safe access over the water below quay level. Access to working areas was provided via a platform suspended from a gantry that spans 12 metres across the quay structure.

Our relationship with Bristol Port Company began in 1999 with construction of a warehouse for the storage of timber and metal. We have since refurbished and extended this facility which is now a chilled store for fresh produce.
