We created a luxury woodland retreat deep in the sweeping parkland of a historic Cornish estate.
The Cornwall is a luxurious 65-bed boutique hotel and spa set in 43 acres of Victorian parkland at Tregorrick near St Austell.
The estate’s main Grade II listed Regency house was refurbished and extended, with 56 new bedrooms provided in seven timber-framed buildings to the rear. The house’s 19th century stables were converted into a luxury spa with pool.
A further 22 two and three-bedroom lodges were constructed in clearings within the parkland.
We provided new homes and habitat for a variety of species including badgers, reptiles and several types of bat. We also installed more than 3km of tree protection fencing across the estate’s woodland.
In addition, more than 1,500 plants and trees were planted as part of the finished scheme.
